For Paris+ par Art Basel FELIX GAUDLITZ is pleased to present True Entertainment, a new series of works  consisting of a new short film and new light boxes by artist and filmmaker Jenna Bliss. The film is the second in the artist’s ongoing series about Wall Street’s recent history. Taking place within the three white walls of an art fair booth in 2007 at the most famous and prestigious art fair in the world, the film follows the ensemble cast through the fair’s duration, borrowing the genre of a scripted “reality” show. The accompanying series of light boxes combine ready-made domestic advertisement imagery with Bliss’s own footage of boarded up Soho in the summer of 2020. The double exposure of images quote the artist’s film process, making the lamps part of her cinematic scenography.
